Printing Your Custom Made Jigsaw

We print all of our photo jigsaw puzzles in our Suffolk warehouse. Each puzzle is carefully printed using a state-of-the-art dye sublimation heat press, which allows us to achieve stunningly vibrant and long lasting prints.

To create your custom photo jigsaw puzzle, we apply heat and pressure at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. This high temperature activates the sublimation process, where the ink transforms from a solid to a gas without passing through a liquid state. As the gas molecules penetrate the surface of the puzzle, they permanently fuse with the material, resulting in a seamless integration of your cherished photos and the puzzle. This cutting edge printing technique ensures that your photos are not only permanently embedded on the surface but also resistant to fading or peeling over time.

Advice For Making Your Photo Jigsaw

When it comes to designing your personalised jigsaw puzzle, it’s important to use high quality images. By using the best quality images, you can ensure a better finish to your puzzle.

For optimal results, we highly recommend using high resolution photos. It is advisable to avoid using images taken from social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp etc.) or screenshots. These images tend to have lower resolutions and can result in pixelation or blurring. Please be aware that once an image is uploaded, we cannot be held responsible for any pixelation caused by low resolution. We print all of our personalised puzzles in coloured ink. If you desire a specific effect, such as black and white or sepia tones on your jigsaw, please make sure you upload your design in the desired effect.

We would like to bring to your attention that while we strive for colour accuracy, we cannot guarantee exact colour matches on our puzzles. Certain very pale colours, such as creams, can be particularly challenging to recreate accurately with our printing process. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid using these colours in your puzzle design.
