Please note: Our chopping boards are made from heat resistant toughened glass. The glass undergoes a special toughening process, which results in a slight blue/green tinge. This is a natural outcome of the toughening process and is completely normal. However, this can impact the overall appearance of your artwork, especially if you opt for very light colours such as creams, beiges or pastel yellows. These light shades may appear slightly different when printed on the glass due to the tinge of the glass.

We print all of our personalised glass chopping boards in our Suffolk warehouse. To create these unique pieces, we start with transparent glass chopping boards. These boards provide a sleek and modern look, perfect for any kitchen. Our team then uses a dye sublimation heat press, which operates at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. This high heat allows us to transfer the design onto the back of the glass surface seamlessly.

The process of dye sublimation involves turning the design from a solid into a gas, which penetrates the coasted glass surface of the back of the chopping board. As a result, your chosen photo or design is imprinted onto the glass. By printing on the bottom of the chopping board the design is displayed through the glass. This helps to ensure the design will not fade or scratch over time.
