Our towels are designed to be easily washed in a standard washing machine at either 30 or 40 degrees Celsius, allowing for hassle-free maintenance. For those who prefer using a tumble dryer, no worries! Our towels can be tumble dried, but be sure to select a low heat setting to preserve their quality and longevity. Remember, it’s always best to wash them with similar colours and avoid using bleach, ensuring that their vibrant and lively look stays intact for years to come.

Our towels are produced in the EU. The printed front side of the towel is made from 100% recycled polyester. Meanwhile, the back of the towel features a soft and absorbent 100% white looped cotton. Please keep in mind that the customisation will be printed on the front side only.

The Design Your Own Beach Towel Service

Designing your own beach towel is not only a fun and creative process, but it also allows you to personalise your beach essentials in a truly unique way. With just a few simple steps, you can transform an ordinary towel into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that reflects your own style and personality.

To begin, you have the freedom to upload your photos, logos, and add text to the towel. This means you can showcase your favourite beach memories, display your own custom artwork or even include a catchy slogan or personal message. The possibilities are endless, and the choice is completely up to you!

Now, let’s talk about adding a background colour to your towel. As standard they are white. Therefore, if you’d like to add a background colour, there are two options available to you.

1. The first option is to select the ‘Elements’ tab in the design software. Once there, click on ‘Draw’ and set the brush width to ‘100’. Choose the colour that catches your eye from the colour selector, and with a few simple swipes of your finger or mouse, you can effortlessly draw the background colour onto the towel. This approach allows for a more personalised touch, as you have complete control over the colour of the background.
2. If you prefer a slightly easier method, the second option is to select the ‘Cliparts’ tab. Within this tab, you will find a drop-down menu that includes a selection of ‘Backgrounds’ and colour range options. Simply choose your desired background. Once you have made this selection, resize the background to fill the entire towel.

Printing Your Customised Towel

We print all of our customised beach towels in our Suffolk warehouse. To begin, we start with a blank white towel, providing a fresh canvas for your unique designs. Using state-of-the-art technology, we use a dye sublimation heat press to transfer your designs onto the polyester front of the towel. This heat press operates at a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius, ensuring optimal colour saturation and durability.

The dye sublimation process involves transforming the ink from a solid to a gas without becoming a liquid in between. By heating the ink to such a high temperature, it turns into a gas and infuses directly into the fibres of the towel fabric. This results in a vibrant, long-lasting print that won’t fade or peel over time.
