Printing your Customised Placemat

We print our bespoke placemats in our Suffolk warehouse. To create the placemats, we start with high quality blank white mats. Through the use of a state of the art dye sublimation heat press, we carefully imprint your designs onto the glossy surface of the placemat.

Our dye sublimation process involves subjecting the placemat to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius. This temperature allows the ink to transform from a solid to a gas without passing through the liquid state, ensuring a permanent bond between the ink and the placemat’s surface. The end result is a stunning print that will not fade, peel or wash away over time.

While the majority of the print remains true to the original design’s colours, it is important to note that, due to the heat involved in the sublimation process, a very slight off-white or cream undertone may appear on any white area of the placemat.

If you have a specific effect in mind for your design, such as black and white or sepia, it is essential to upload your design in the desired effect.

It’s worth noting that due to the printing process, white areas of the placemat may exhibit a very slight off white or cream undertone. This is due to the heat involved in the printing method.
